The proposal for action to recognise the structural legacies of colonialism that we submitted to The UN Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent (WGEPAD) was successfully incorporated into their draft recommendations, which will be published by the Human Rights Council in Geneva, later this year.

Proposed Regulation of Supplementary Schools: A Government Consultation

Academic Lead: Dr Ornette D Clennon

The Department for Education called for evidence to inform the development of the government’s proposals for requiring certain out-of-school education settings to register and be subject to risk-based inspections.

In my advisory work with the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRCSE), I have been involved in shaping NRCSE’s response to this latest consultation exercise.
